I am very excited to add Alo brand bamboo tops to my website. There are four ladies tees with a wonderful range of colors and styles. These are 70% bamboo and 30% cotton. I have been wearing them and testing them for the last week and just love ‘em!! I also added a men’s classic t-shirt that comes in black, white, navy, slate and steel blue. It is also 70% bamboo and 30% cotton, but it has a lighter feel than my Amazing Tee’s brand. I would describe the Amazing Tee’s brand as more “cushiony” and plush. But the Alo brand is very soft as well! Check them out!

She lists the best value products that can be bought at the drug store. For example, one of the best inexpensive foundations with sunscreen for normal to dry skin is Revlon Colorstay makeup with SoftFlex for Normal to Dry skin SPF 15, approximately $13. One of the best inexpensive concealers is Revlon Age Defying Concealer SPF 20, about $9. And best inexpenisve blush: Maybelline New York Dream Mousse Blush, about $7.50. She also recommends Maybelline’s new Colossal mascara and Olay Regenerist. The expensive thing she can’t live without? Allergan’s Latisse eyelash grower that just came out. I’ve found some great sites that have interesting information about living a greener life. I’d like to share them and hope you all will share yours! Ideal Bite is a daily e-newsletter that has fun suggestions and facts that help you realize how little adjustments in daily life add up. For example, today it shared: “If 10,000 Biters use 10 large used or recycled moving boxes instead of new ones, we’ll save 7,350 trees.” and “The UN estimates that there are more than 3 million shipwrecks on the oceanfloor.” Where do they find out these facts? I guess there’s somebody there researching things and figuring things out! One reason I love this site and daily missive is that they describe themselves as “light green” — somewhere between tree huggers and litter buggers! Hopefully, that’s most of us! No matter what the garment is, it is more comfortable, more eco-friendly and more flattering when made from bamboo. Bamboo became a way of life for me as soon as I put on my first bamboo tee.
